sunset

July 13, 2022

I love sharing a peek into a recent sunset photo session in the Denver area, especially for those who might be interested in your own portraits! While every family photo session is a little different, I love to share full galleries of real sessions so you know exactly what to expect at yours.

Thank you for checking out my photography here on my website and blog. The sunset photo session is such a beautiful, emotive way to remember your family’s love!

If you love these photos and you are looking for a Denver family photographer, I would love to begin planning your session. To see more of my portfolio please visit my main website here and submit your contact info if this is something you would love for your family. My service includes an extensive studio wardrobe with tons of dresses for moms (from favorite shops like Baltic BornViciPink Blush, and more) and lots choices for babies, children (shops like ZaraH&M, and Noralee) and shirts for men.

Alyssum is a Denver photographer and specializes in newborn, maternity, and family photos in Denver and Castle Rock, CO. To reserve your 2022-23 family or baby photos in my Castle Rock studio, your home, the mountains, or any of my beautiful preferred locations near Douglas County and Jefferson County, Colorado, please contact me here.

FOODS FOR NURSING MOMS TO AVOID
48 HOURS BEFORE NEWBORN SESSION:

Acidic food/drinks such as:

Cranberries     Pineapple     Grapefruit
Oranges     Lemons     Berries
Tomatos     Chocolate     Nuts
Pizza     Chili     Mexican food     Ketchup

Gassy vegetables such as:

Asparagus     Onions     Pickles
Cucumbers     Broccoli     Cauliflower
Brussels Sprouts     Cabbage

Restrict soda, coffee, tea, wine, and beer.

Sometimes dairy, depending on the baby.

I know this seems like a long list, but you only have your newborn's portraits taken once! It's not worth it to risk having a gassy or fussy baby who just can't settle. And in the event that your baby is still gassy, I always recommend keeping Gripe Water on hand. I know it was a lifesaver for me when my two were babies.
