My heart was so incredibly happy to be back to work just in time to capture some amazing spring blooms at my favorite park in Highlands Ranch! This is one of the best times to be a Denver family photographer.

With a mask on my face and a long lens on my camera, I got to spend time with beautiful mamas and their loved ones as they celebrated Mother’s Day with photos!

How perfectly styled is this bunch? New to my client experience is a complimentary styling service through Style & Select! Once you book your session, you’ll receive a special code to begin the stress-free styling process. This mama found her gorgeous dress at Magnolia Boutique through her personalized selections.
This is why I love being a family photographer. What a happy baby girl! And her adorable onesie from Reverie Threads is so cute on her!!

Beautiful baby Annabelle came in to the studio a few months ago for me to capture her three-month milestone portraits. She has changed so much since then! Her chubby thighs and big blue eyes were such a treat to now photograph at six months.

If you’ve ever hiked or biked in Highlands Ranch, you may have come across the trail we’re on here. It’s called the High Line Canal Trail and with an impressive length of 71 miles, it winds all the way from Waterton Canyon, through Littleton, Denver, and Aurora!
I can’t wait to keep watching this beautiful baby grow!

Photography by Alyssum is a studio and lifestyle family photographer located in Castle Rock, Colorado, serving surrounding areas such as Denver, Littleton, Louviers, Sedalia, Sterling Ranch, Highlands Ranch, Castle Pines, Parker, Franktown, Larkspur, Centennial, Douglas County, and Jefferson County. I would love to help you schedule your baby’s portrait session or your family’s sunset golden hour session!

Acidic food/drinks such as:

Cranberries     Pineapple     Grapefruit
Oranges     Lemons     Berries
Tomatos     Chocolate     Nuts
Pizza     Chili     Mexican food     Ketchup

Gassy vegetables such as:

Asparagus     Onions     Pickles
Cucumbers     Broccoli     Cauliflower
Brussels Sprouts     Cabbage

Restrict soda, coffee, tea, wine, and beer.

Sometimes dairy, depending on the baby.

I know this seems like a long list, but you only have your newborn's portraits taken once! It's not worth it to risk having a gassy or fussy baby who just can't settle. And in the event that your baby is still gassy, I always recommend keeping Gripe Water on hand. I know it was a lifesaver for me when my two were babies.
